Okay, so this is my first attempt to start a blog. I am not sure what I am doing.
Some exciting news for us! This past weekend was the Southwest Special. It is a 300 mile pigeon race. We went down to St. George and watched our pigeon fly home and take 5th place! It was our first big race and it was very exciting! We won $600! Not bad for our first race! Ryan was so excited! My favorite part was watching the pigeons come in. They let the birds go from Plymouth, Utah, which is 300 "bird" miles back to St. George. The sad part is that we don't get her back. She is being auctioned off. We will get a little more than half of the money she sells for. So I guess it isn't all a loss.
