Happy 2013!

 Ok ok. So 2 years later I am posting on my blog.  I'm going to just update you with the most recent events in our family.  Ryan is still in school we are closer to the end even though it feels like forever.  He also works very very hard for our family.  Long hours at work and his other responsibilities keep him busy all day long. It is nice when we finally see him every evening.  Paisley is a smart, busy, cheeky 1.5 year old little girl.  She makes us laugh and surprises us everyday with things she is learning.  We had Kason Drex join our family in October.  We all love him so much. His timing couldn't be more perfect. Can I just say that I KNOW Heavenly Father has a plan for our family and knows what we need in order to grow and learn together on this earth.   2012 has truly been a year I will never forget but am grateful to be on to the next year!  Kason is almost 4 months old now and loves to watch his sister.  He has to be sitting up and be where she is ALL the time.  He loves it when anybody talks to him.  He always has something to say to you and give you the biggest smile you ever did see.  Of course I can't get them on camera :) Me-well I am learning how tough it is to be a mom sometimes.  It is so rewarding and I don't want to be doing anything else right now.  Managing things at home is what I am striving to do better everyday!

2 weeks left!

This me at 38 weeks! I am feeling VERY LARGE and much more awkward. It is tough to get up and down, I can't bend very easy, and I have swollen feet! But other than that I love being pregnant! I have truly enjoyed this experience! It is still amazing to me that there is a little body inside me and that very soon we get to meet her! We have our bag packed and ready for whenever she decides to make her grand entrance! Ryan and I are very excited!
36 Weeks.

Being Pregnant

Since October when we found out, life has been very good to us! The first 12 weeks went by so fast! For the most part I felt pretty good! I just ate ALL the time so I wouldn't feel sick. At least that is what I told myself. The 2nd trimester was great too! I did have energy and could now see the changes in my body and began to feel uncomfortable. Sleeping has been the biggest adjustment for me. Trying to find the most comfortable position is not possible I have decided. I sleep with two pillows between my legs, another one next to my back and when Ryan goes to work I use his pillow at my front side. Some days I wake up with sore hips, and most days my bottom hurts. I got a massage this month and oh was it heavenly! I am getting another one next week! I started to feel baby girl move around 17 weeks. I don't really know how to describe it. My mom said it's like butterfly flutters! When Ryan felt her move for the first time- she kicked once pretty hard and this is his exact words, "Holy heck she is in there!" I love it when he can feel her move! His hands are warm and I think she likes that feeling! Ryan asks me all the time what it feels like. I just don't know how to explain it. This baby girl moves all the time! I am reminded everyday what a miracle she is. I love going to our check ups and seeing her grow. She is a miracle. A gift from God that I feel blessed to have. I have tried to go walking a few times a week. It has been so cold outside and I wished that I could get out alot more but I feel so thankful to be as healthy as I am. I have enjoyed this journey and I know it is just beginning.
